Hello Sierra Chart Support, I am using Teton routing through AMP. I can trade outright futures, but when I try to trade an exchange-listed calendar spread symbol, the order is rejected with: “Symbol not allowed by master firm account for trading.” AMP told me: “We built the back end, but you need to contact Sierra to complete. If you choose Teton, support is through Sierra.” Could you please advise whether anything still needs to be enabled or completed on the Sierra/Teton side for exchange-listed calendar spread symbols on my account? Thank you. |

What is the exact spread symbol? This will need to be enabled by AMP. We will let them know.

Hello, The exact spread symbol is: MCLK26-MCLM26.FUT_SPREAD.CME Also, I would like to clarify one thing: Will AMP need to enable each exchange-listed spread symbol individually every time, or can exchange-listed calendar spread symbols be enabled more generally for my account? I want to understand whether this is a one-time setup issue or whether I would need to request approval each time I want to trade a different spread symbol. Thank you. |
