Hi,

I have just noticed this today and cannot seem to find a fix anywhere. Ever single chart I have used for the last months, or years, I can see bar 48 on the left side and 81 bars of the ES session (full session) on 5minute. I have thousands of charts like that. And there is no empty space, as you can in the screenshot on the right hand edge. Suddenly, today, I now can see 47 bars on the left hand side and there is a phantom empty bar on the right hand side. It's really annoying me because I have thousands of charts over months which are not like this.

Is this a bug, have I pressed something? It's really annoying me that it's suddenly changed. I have searched for answers and tried a few settings but none seem to work. When I restart SC, it does for a second go back to how it was before, 48 on left and no phantom space on right. Then suddenly the phantom space appears.

Please look at the screenshot, you can clearly see a phantom space about the size of a bar next to the right edge.

Thanks in advance

There is always going to be some space between the last (most recent) bar and the price scale. And, in your case, you have the "Chart Scale Border" hidden (most likely by setting the color to be the same as the background), so we can not tell exactly where the edge of the price scale is at that moment.

Keep in mind, the width of the price scale is automatically set and can not be changed manually. The one thing we see that may be impacting the width of the scale, in this case, is the bar style display at the bottom of the chart. We notice that the value of 40000.000 is showing with three zeros after the decimal point. This means that the "Value Format" is set to "0.001". Check if that is really what you need for that study and adjust to something smaller if you can (if it is a Volume display, then it should have a Value Format of "1".

Wow, thanks John, that fixed it. The issue was a few too many decimal places on the volume indicator. Keep up the great work!
