I noticed recently that my market depth bars disappear once filled, confirmed by time and sales/ footprint.
on the picture to the left, you see sellers sold into passive buyer and market depth bar disappeared.
on the picture to the right, buyers bought into passive sellers and market depth bars remained on chart.
what setting do i need to change to allow the bars to remain on chart once filled? thank you

The input for "Use last quantity instead of max quantity for bars" is Yes.

Given that setting, then the logical answer is that limit orders were put back in at that specific level sometime before the bar closed in the image on the right, whereas this did not occur in the situation on the left.

Keep in mind that the value shown for a closed bar is going to be the value at that level when the bar closed.
