Would like to have the option some day way in the future.... It would be nice to have all of the trade window buttons horizontally aligned, but not in the compacted view. So the order buttons and the order quantities would all be horizontally aligned. Here is a hack mock up picture.

We have been adding the functionality of the Trade Window to the Control Bar capabilities, so that eventually you can layout a Control Bar how you want and use that instead of the trade window. Most of the functionality is already there, so you can do what you are wanting using the Control Bars.
