hi, a question in regard to chart Session Times. How we can run 2 Intraday charts, one with Session Time set to pit hours, and a second one running full sessions? My use case: For higher timeframes I rely on Historical Charts with days starting at 6pm. Then I have 2 charts set to Intraday: one is a tpo profile chart with Session Time set to pit hours, the other one is my trading chart, with bars and a couple of studies. Trading chart should be like the Historical charts starting at 6pm, covering 24 hours. Using the Evening Session doesn't reset the day at 6pm. Historical charts won't do either, as my trading timeframe is the 1 min TF. Thank you, Alex |

We are not understanding the issue/question. The one thing we want to point out is that a "Historical Data" chart is going to give daily bars that do not have a specific start/end time. They are only associated with a "day", as that is how the data is sent from the exchange (Open/High/Low/Close/Volume for each day). So if you want daily bars that have a specific start time, you would need to build those bars from the Intraday data and not from the historical daily data. Refer to the following: Historical Chart Prices: 12.1 - Historical Daily Bars Session Times and Evening Session Trading For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Thank you John. And apologies, I realize now, perhaps I wasn't very clear. I did find a workaround though. One week into figuring out SierraChart, and it's truly beautiful software. Thank you for coding all this. Alex |
