I'm having an issue with order placement on Flex Renko charts where after I place a limit order, the order will start moving up or down closer to the market price, like it's chasing it, and won't stay put at my limit placement. I'm not using limit chase orders or anything just standard limit orders. Any suggestions on a setting or something causing the price to move around like this?

How are you placing the order? Is this a manual order through the Trade Window or on a chart/DOM, or is this some kind of automated trade?

Whichever method is being used to create the order, double check the settings and ensure it is not a Chase order.

Is the actual price on the order line changing? We wonder if this is just a scaling issue in terms of what appears to be the order moving, but it's just due to how the scaling is setup.

Check to see if you have a "Trade Management by Study" study on the chart that may be causing the order to move. Refer to the following:

It's very odd. Only happens when I place the trade on the charts dom, not on regular trading dom. It even works fine if I use my auto trade strategy, literally only if I manually use the chart dom. Further, when I go to adjust the order it usually just immediately closes out the trade. I double checked there's no chase feature etc. I also tried it without any trade management studies on the chart and still moves as if it's semi trailing the price. I just created a fresh new chart with the same settings of 6-4-1 and it seems ok when I placed an order on it. So maybe its an odd setting or glitch on the other chart. I'll build out the new chart and see if anything pops up along the way. Thanks
