Clarification on Using Rithmic with Sierra Chart for Paper Trading and Live Data

Hi, I am a new user here, and I have a few questions about using Rithmic Trader Pro with Sierra Chart. If I am only paper trading, do I still need a brokerage account connected to Sierra Chart? Or can I use Sierra Chart with Rithmic Trader Pro only, without a broker? If it does work without a broker, and I purchase the appropriate Sierra Chart package (such as Level 10 or above), will I receive real-time live market data? Or will the data be delayed unless I have an active broker account? I read that live data may not be available when using Rithmic Trader Pro with Sierra Chart without a broker, since Rithmic is a data/technology provider and not a broker. Could you please confirm if this is correct? I just want to clearly understand the setup requirements before proceeding. Thank you. |
