Hello
I cannot seem to find a native way to plot price as a dot.
I use Heikin Ashi, but need to overlay price as a dot as well.
Thanks!

BTW I have seen the Study/Price Overlay but it appears to overlay price from another chart but the draw options don't include just dots. I'm happy to write one with ACSIL - just need a pointer and I can do the reading/coding as needed. Brief answer would save time.

Add a moving average study to the chart, with Input Data set to Last, with a Length of 1.

On the subgraphs tab, select Point as the Draw Style.

Note: In the Chart Studies window, in the Studies to Graph list, make sure the moving average study is after (lower down the list) than the Heikin Ashi study. Otherwise the dots will be behind the bars.

This should give you a dot for the current price, but also a dot on the closing price of every candle.

If you ONLY want price as a dot on the CURRENT candle, use the Current Price Line study (again, after the HA study in the list so it's on top).

Current Price Line

Number of Bars to Display: 1

Select Point for the Draw Style on the Subgraphs Tab.
