Just wondering, is it possible to automate the profit taking mechanism for Sierra in such a way (i couldnt see how, but figured id ask) Step 1, i set all my targets manually for Take Profits, so lets just say in this example there are 3 contracts each with different targets, tp1, tp2, and tp3...these levels are different for every trade, they are based on structure not based on raw ticks. Here's how id want to execute this automatically. Starts off at a set level of Stop Loss. once TP1 hits, move 2 remaining SL to BE + 1 tick Once TP2 hits, move the 1 remaining SL to where TP1 was. Once TP3 hits, the trade is over (or if there are more TP it would stagger them all up again.) Is it possible to automate this functionality? |

There is not a way to automate this using the built-in tools. The reason for this is that the Take Profit levels are not exposed anywhere, so there is not a way to reference them. You could do this using a custom study. Refer to the following: Automated Trading From an Advanced Custom Study For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
