Gold (GCG) Futures - Symbol needs Rollover.

GCG is already prompting me to rollover to the next contract (GCJ) even though volume is still higher on GCG. In Global settings, I have the following setting set to Yes: "Detect Rollover of Current Futures Contract Symbols Based on Real Time Volume" With that setting enabled, why is it already prompting me to rollover? Current GCG volume on the day is 73393, and GCJ volume is 18152. I have seen this happen with other symbols in the past too, where it is prompting to rollover on Monday, instead of waiting to prompt me after volume is higher on the new contract. Thank you. |

This can happen at the starting of the trading day and the volumes are lower, where the next contract month temporarily has a higher volume.
