Numbers Bars – Need solid single-color delta column + volume column + thin body marker (MotiveWave-style footprint) I am using Numbers Bars (Rev 54254, 64-bit, Version 2800) I am trying to configure a two-column footprint: Column 1 (left): Delta (Ask-Bid or Diagonal Delta) Column 2 (right): Total Volume Requirements: • Each price level background must be a single solid color based on delta (not bid/ask split, not gradients, no gray neutrals) • Horizontal profile bars must be wider (similar to MotiveWave footprint style) • Only a thin candle body indicator on the left side (no wicks) • POC outline should not be compressed or clipped I am encountering the following issues: • Column coloring remains mixed (blue/pink/gray) even when using “Based on AskVol/BidVol Difference” • Many documented inputs (marker styles, wick suppression, profile width controls) are not present in my Numbers Bars dialog • Graph Draw Type = Candle Body Only does not suppress wick artifacts Is there a recommended Numbers Bars configuration for achieving a MotiveWave-style footprint layout, or a required chart draw mode that prevents column override conflicts? https://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=1769205770107.png |

Since it's been 2 weeks and there is no reply, I will consider this request undoable. Thanks to everyone who considered it.

One reason we choose Sierra chart is because "it's doable". I think this will address most of your issues. One thing to watch out for is that if you combine tick data the actual open and close of the candle will be rounded to the nearest increment. OK, two things-- SC seems to force the Open Close Marker Style (In:74) to fall in between column 1 & 2. So to get the Footprint candle to blend in with your chart, you will need to adjust all the Column Range colors (In: 20-27) to the same as your chart bg color because workaround. Also consider, once you have the scale legibly to your liking, right-clicking on the price scale and selecting "Set X & Y Constant relationship" to keep the bar info from squishing at extreme zoom levels. https://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=1770952094241.png Date Time Of Last Edit: 2026-02-13 03:16:06
