I assume this is broken since 1202.

Please refer to the picture attached.

For the CL (crude) Pit Session the bar should start 15:00 (CET) not 15:30

(see chart in the background with time at mouse cross-hair )

The evening/overnight session should start 20:30 (cet)

If I recall correctly, this worked before in sierra.

This only applies to the Evening Start Time and all bars are aligned to that time.

Do you plan to correct this in the future ?

"backward alignment" makes no sense for a trader.
From a traders perspective , the current handling creates a false picture of the Pit session.

The pit session is 15:00 - 20:30 cet
the overnight is the rest (20:30 - 15:00 cet)

Also, sierra generally has trouble with the weekend break in regard to session times.

I understand sierra works correctly for only the PIT session slice,
but CL is heavily traded overnight.

There are many markets with similar session breaks (Pit + overnight time),
but different start/end times (not at top of the hour).

So not only crude would benefit from this.

please give it a thought to optimize this in future versions.

TY

hi crazybears,

thank you for your help.

yes I did see the second - my precise settings are:

Pit: 15:00:00 - 20:29:59 CET
overnight : 20:30:00 - 14:59:59 CET

so I use a second early, you use a second late.

I tried your settings (except; I did not change my PC clock) - still the 60min Bars are wrong.
They are "back adjusted" and start at xx:30 - not at xx:00 during PIT.

Do your 60min bars start at top of the hour during Pit and at half the hour during overnight ?
(this is what institutional apps like CQG do - at least as an option)

I want 60min bars to start at top of hour during PIt and
I want the other 60min bars to start at xx:30

TY

hi crazybears,

yes I did reload multiple times,

Please see my picture, my pit session starts NOT at the top of hour.

also, if you are right and your picture suggests so :) - the 1st reply from support seems to contradict this.

still waiting for their reply.
