Hi, I'd like to extract the Point of Control value from a VbP study where the line extends until future intersection, but specifically I only want the ones that have NOT been intersected. In the screenshots below The Point of Control is labelled "nVPOC" and "VPOC". Screenshot: https://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=1768434337185.png Here, the intent is to display and capture the naked VPOC lines generated by the VbP on a daily candle. I've tried to use the spreadsheet study to accomplish this but it doesn't seem to work. Is this capability possible today via either the Spreadsheet Study or ASCIL? Any examples would be appreciated. |

What exactly do you mean by "capture"? Are you wanting to access the data programmatically within the software somehow, or do you just want it displayed? Also, we are not sure what you are showing in the Daily chart, or how you have multiple POCs showing. Is this a single profile covering multiple days, or are you displaying single daily profiles all stacked on top of each other? There is no way to capture the information programmatically using the built-in tools. You would need to create a custom study to do this, and even then we are not certain if you can specifically get the non-intersected lines. You would need to dig into the capabilities for this. But refer to the following to start: ACSIL Interface Members - Functions: sc.GetStudyProfileInformation https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/SierraChartStudyAndSystemProgrammers.php For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Thanks John. By capture, I mean have the Point of Control values reflected in a spreadsheet study where I can then process the .tsv locally. On the daily chart, I'm using a VbP with "Volume Graph Period Type" set to "Multiple Profiles based on Fixed Time" and Fixed Time Time Period = Days and Time Period Length = 1. I was hoping there was built-in support to access this data. I'll spend some time starting with sc.GetStudyProfileInformation and see how far I can get. |
