These have been so since the new MDI, not just 2859 1. Very Minor, but if MDI Child Window Minimize Method = {"Hide Window"} If you have a Trade Window attached to a chart and you minimise that chart, the Trade Window becomes unattached and missing when you restore the hidden window (I use CW). The trade window shows a tick in the TRADE menu, but it isn't; to recover, uncheck it (it reappears unattached), then check it again (it then reattaches). Very minor and I use {"None"} on Live Trade - but wanted to let you know. 2. Detached windows on separate monitors did work perfectly for me. For example, three detached charts sized vertically to fit the screen of another monitor, showing 60min/120min/240min charts. Then, if I maximised the 60min for the trading day, when I switched between the chartbooks, this maximised detached chart would stay maximised above the other two. If I needed, I could "restore down" the 60min to go back to having three vertical charts alongside each other. However, I lost this capability with one of the changes at the start of MDI versions, and a maximised detached window no longer retained its maximised state and reverted to its sized state when I flicked between chartbooks. I found a workaround by manually enlarging the 60min to fill the screen (not maximising), then minimising the chart to view the 120/240 charts, knowing that whenever I flicked back into the chartbook, the 60min would be back to its original size at full screen. A bit annoying, as it wasn't a simple click to switch between three vertical charts side by side or to maximise one full screen. However, I then lost this capability about 4 or 5 versions ago, as now a minimised detached window now stays minimised, so I have to find it in CW to restore it (as opposed to flicking between chartbooks) So my current workaround is to keep the detached 60min sized as full screen, and to see the other two charts, I have to slide the left edge to reduce the window width to see all three charts vertically as before, but now have to manually size it again to fill the screen. Alternatively, I can minimise the 60min to see the other two, then go into CW to restore the 60min to full screen, but that means I dont't view all three alongside each other. As I flick between chartbooks/contracts all day long, it's reached the point worth mentioning: resizing or finding a detached minimised chart in CW is now time-consuming/problematic, whereas before detached layouts were very flexible and easy to change with quick single-clicks to maximise/restore down that held when flicking between chartbooks edited - I can partly solved using Window Always Visible, but it does leave a lot of overlapping open windows so not ideal.
