Hello, For the last two days I am experiencing a consistent data delay of around 2 seconds in Sierra Chart. I trade ES using Denali Exchange Data Feed with Teton Order Routing, connecting from Spain. Until last week, with the same setup, the delay shown as DD on the chart was around 0.2 seconds. The DD value is now consistently around 2 seconds. CPU and system performance are normal, and nothing has changed on my side. I would appreciate your help looking into this. I have read some mentions about NTP/time synchronization, but I am not sure if this could be related. Thank you, |

Most likely this is just a difference in the timestamps of the data versus the clock on your computer. This is how that Data Delay (DD: in the Chart Header) determines the delay. The NTP service that we supply can help alleviate this, but you can also just make sure that your computer clock is set correctly and that you are using an NTP service with it. Refer to the following for the NTP option we have available: Network Time Protocol Client Also, just so you are aware, if this is a difference in the clocks, then it will not have any impact on your system. For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
