Dear support!

I'm bothering you again to understand how I should proceed. I've double-checked everything and will be as brief as possible. I have 3 issues with the latest versions.

1. Some of my chartbooks contain detached charts. This is vital for my multi-monitor setup. Now, if the option "Main Menu -> Window -> Always Visible Window" is OFF, these detached charts are only visible when their parent chartbook is selected, but disappear from my screens when I switch to another chartbook. Furthermore, if this option is ON, these detached charts are added as chart tabs to foreign chartbooks (but they don't appear as chart tabs in their parent chartbook).

2. When I traverse charts using "Main Menu -> Window -> Prev/Next Chart", the focus in the chart tabs doesn't switch.

3. I have a lot of hotkeys with the 'Alt' button, and when I press them a system sound plays (standard windows beep).

Maybe a temporary practical solution for me would be to roll-back to say v2798 from 2025-09-25 and wait for the engineers to fix everything?

Thank you!

We are going over all of this and we are aware of the keyboard issue. This will be resolved, this week.

1. What you describe is standard behavior. This is nothing new.

Although we need to look into this:
Furthermore, if this option is ON, these detached charts are added as chart tabs to foreign chartbooks (but they don't appear as chart tabs in their parent chartbook).

2. We do not see this problem, and it makes no technical sense to occur.

We have released pre-release 2856. These issues should be resolved other than the keyboard issue.

Dear engineers!

I checked pre-release v2856.
Now "always visible" detached charts are NOT added as chart tabs to foreign chartbooks.
I am so happy!

Thank you!

Dear сolleagues!

I'm sending you 2 simple chartbooks. myChartBook2 has its 3rd chart detached.

1. Assign any hotkey for "Main Menu -> Window -> Next Chart".
2. Open myChartBook1, then myChartBook2. Now myChartBook2 is selected and its tab is focused, the 1st chart within is active and its tab is also highlighted.
3. Click myChartBook1, then switch back to myChartBook2. Now the 3rd detached chart overlaps the 1st one, while the tab of the 1st chart is still highlighted, i.e. it's active.
4. Pressing the assigned hotkey sequentially, we traverse to the 2nd chart, then to the 3rd detached chart, and to the 1st chart again. Now the 3rd detached chart disappears, i.e. the system knows z-order.
5. Repeat from point #3.

Approximately before October 2025 the 3rd detached chart did not overlap other charts while switching chartbooks. I mean, the behavior is different in the latest versions.

Thank you!

I've checked v2858.
The keyboard issue with ALT has been resolved!

I'm looking forward to your reaction to my upper post #5.
Thank you!
