Dear Support, I can see many updates since my last versions. Is it safe to copy my DLL's, Chartbooks, Chart Groups, *.StdyCollct and the Sierra4.config files from the these earlier versions to v2852 or should I build from scratch possibly using templates? Many thanks. |

The main changes in the versions from 2814 to 2852 have been related to the MDI child windows (the chart windows that are contained within the main Sierra Chart application). These changes do not have any impact on DLLs, Chartbooks, Chart Groups, Study Collections, or Settings (apart from the new settings). So you should not have any issues with using your old information in the current release. In general, this last statement is true. It is rare for us to make a breaking change that would force you to redo your setups.
