I see on volume by price study in:72 Calculate developing POC and Value area. I cannot seem to get the function to work and wondering if there's some other setting that goes with it I am not seeing? I want to be able to see on a session where the POC shifted up and down from. Took a SS of what I am hoping to achieve. It seems to work on developing profiles but no on finished ones.

Is the image from what you are seeing, or what you want to see? If it is what you want to see, then what are you actually getting? We need to see an image of your chart so we can understand what you are seeing.

Uh so that image is what I would like to see. But its not happening on anything except my current on going NY session profile. I want to be about to see the vpoc shifts on prior day and draw vol tool profiles that I draw around consolidations. Heres an image on my sierra chart

In order to see the developing POC (and Value Areas), you need to have the "Draw Mode" set to display those lines. So if you want to view the lines and the Volume Profiles, you would set this to "Volume Profiles & POC, VAH, VAL Lines". Refer to the following: Volume By Price Study: Draw Mode This is covered in this section: Volume By Price Study: Calculate Developing POC and Value Area For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

So the POC developing is going into the evening session which I am just now realizing that the profile may be going past the end time I set for it. Hard to tell since the ETH range is almost entirely inside prior day range. I have been having a very difficult time with this prior day profile working within specific time period.

That profile has the "Volume Graph Period Type" set to "From Start Date-Time + Fixed Time Length". So it is starting at the start time you defined, and then will go forward 1 day, since that is the "Fixed Time Length" that you have defined. If you want it to stop at the Stop Time you define, then you need to set the "Volume Graph Period Type" to "From Start Date-Time to End Date-Time".
