Hi guys, is there a way to quickly skip a weekend (or a holiday, i.e. days with no data) when replaying a chart? I tried adding a few hours in the "Unit" setting of the Replay Chart window and clicking the ">>" button but it does not seem to add that time interval if the end of the current day was reached. Thus it takes a long while for the Replay Chart to go through the weekend, e.g. a minute of real world time, depending on the replay speed used. Am I doing it right or is there a better way to do it, without changing the speed in the Replay Chart window? Thank you for any replies. EDITED: to provide more context for the question/feature request, this is important when testing multi-day bot strategies. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2026-01-05 06:56:47

+1 for something like this suggestion. Unsure how best to add a list of these using the current Dialog, but even a single Skip Enabled (checkbox), and Skip From [day of week] [time] and Skip To [day of week] [time] would be useful. I might set that to [x] and [Friday, 14:00:00 PT] and [Sunday, 14:59:59 PT]
to skip from Friday Close to just before Globex Open for Index futures. That would address the largest idle area during replays. |

@User719512 I don't think even that is needed. They already have the "Skip Empty Periods" checkbox. So it just needs to do what it say in the label - skip weekends/holidays when there is no data on the tape. Sierra guys, can you comment please? |

Well @bozo_j, after reading the docs further, I think Replaying Charts: Automatic Skipping of Periods Where There Is No Trading and Synchronization explains things and how replay with multiple charts works.

@User719512 Thanks for this! It is much more complex than I thought and I am going through the possibilities now. |
