1. On the Trade DOM, the left side shows a line/border (Chart Scale Border). This can only be changed in the Global Settings. https://www.sierrachart.com/Download.php?Folder=SupportBoard&download=131613 2. How can I change the black box/outline of the status region? https://www.sierrachart.com/Download.php?Folder=SupportBoard&download=131614 |

1. We do not understand the question. What global setting are you referring to? And also what you are highlighting looks like the border of a window. Is it the border of the window? It is hard for us to tell. 2. We do not know. This is a function of the operating system and we are not going to be spending any time on this. We have much higher priorities. I’m currently using Version 2845 Rev55294, which includes the Windows Border and Scale Border color change feature. While working with Graph Settings – Chart for Trade DOM, I’ve noticed that I can’t change the Trade DOM’s scale border without resetting and reconfiguring Global Graph from scratch, which is pretty time‑consuming. I’d like to know if this limitation is by design or if it’s still in development and planned for a future release. Overall, the new window border color change feature in this version has been very helpful.

A detached chart or Trading DOM, cannot have its border color changed. This is controlled by the operating system. It is only what are called MDI child windows, part of the main window which allow the border color to be set within Sierra Chart. So we do not even know how this is possible, assuming you are referring to a detached chart window: I’ve noticed that I can’t change the Trade DOM’s scale border without resetting and reconfiguring Global Graph from scratch, which is pretty time‑consuming.

Thank you for your work on this. Please note: Download or upgrade to version 2845 Rev 55294 or later. This is currently a pre-release build. • Path: Global Settings > Graphics Settings > Colors and Widths > Window Border • Optional: You can also adjust “Window Inactive Border.” • Trade DOM border: Use “Chart Scale Border.” These appear to be new features. I spent a few hours finding them, so hopefully this saves others some time. Terry |

Hello and thank you, I was wondering if you can help some more: The path mentioned in Post no. 6 is for changing the color of the borders but I would like to change the width. After the SC update, the width of the border on my Time and Sales windows is disproportionately wide and take up precious space. Any advice how to reduce the width? Thanks! H. |

We are checking on the border width, with Time and Sales windows.
