1)After updating to sierrachart version 2813
the alert manager window > source column also reports the chartbook filename.
Can sierrachart version 2813 be modified to not report the chartbook filename?

2)If the only way to not report the chartbook filename in that column
is to revert to an older Sierra Chart version from before this change,
which version is suitable?

3)Can I request a change from Sierra Chart support to add a setting/toggle in a future build
to avoid seeing the chartbook name in the alert manager window > source column?

1. There is not an option to not show the Chartbook number in the Alert Manager.

2. We do not know when exactly this was added, but we went back to version 2750 and it was still in that version. So it is old enough that we do not recommend going back to an older version.

3. We have noted this request.

We do want to point out that you can adjust the column widths in the Alert Manager such that the "Chartbook" name that is showing can be hidden.

In v2813 the alert manager window > source column the chartbook name is
inserted between the chart name and the study alert short name,
e.g. chart name | chartbook name | study alert short name

In v2671 the info of interest was displayed as shown below
chart name | study alert short name
A report that retains the | study alert short name would be good.
