Hello,
I need an important solution, please.

Chart 1:
Used “Add Additional Symbol” to insert the symbol ‘SPY’ into chart “ES.”

Chart 2:
Inserted symbol “SPY” into chart region 1 for “ES.”

How can the prices for “SPY” be displayed on the left scale in Chart 2?

The right scale should continue to be the price scale for the symbol “ES.”

Thank you very much for your help.

Best regards,
Thomas

Refer to the following:
Chart Settings: Use Left Side Scale (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Scale menu)

This function is enabled. (see Chart 3)

In Chart 1, you can see the prices of ES & SPY on the left side of the chart.

Since SPY & ES are “running parallel,” I would like to see:
1. ES & SPY in one chart,
2. SPY prices on the left side,
3. ES prices on the right side.

Is that clearer?
Thank you.

The information we pointed you to gives you the information for how to set the symbol that is in the chart through the "Add Additional Symbol" study to use the Left Side Scale.

Please follow those instructions to turn on the left-side scale and click the link in that section for "Use in Left Side Scale" so you can understand where to set that option for that study.

I am trying to understand your instructions.

It should look like Chart 4.

What is "Chart >> Chart Settings >> Symbol >> Symbol" set to for the chart?

If you are using the "Add Additional Symbol" study, then what is the Symbol for that study? If you are using a different study, when what study are you using?

"What is "Chart >> Chart Settings >> Symbol >> Symbol" set to for the chart?"

ES-202512-CME

If you are using the "Add Additional Symbol" study, then what is the Symbol for that study?

SPY

I used these two symbols.

These settings are available for the SPY symbol. (see Chart 5)

The left scale is not automatically adopted from the SPY prices.

It continues to show the prices from the ES-202512-CME symbol.

The way you have it setup should give you what you want.

Please get us that chart by following these instructions so we can see what might be going on:

"Please provide us with this table by following these instructions so that we can see what might be going on."

I have attached the table as “private.”

Thank you very much.

We do not know why you are not able to get the "Add Additional Symbol" for SPY to show its scaling in the left side scale for this chart. You have everything set properly for it. We will try to dig a little deeper.

But, in the meantime, please start a new chart and set it up the same way and let us know if the new chart works properly or if it continues to have the same problem as this one chart. Please start simple, by starting a new chart for ES and then adding the "Add Additional Symbol" and set it up to use the Left Side Scale. Do not add anything else to the chart until you first do the above and see if the left scale shows properly or not.

The experiment with a new chartbook did not work.

I had also downloaded the new version of Sierra Chart beforehand.

Checkbox in “include in Scale Width calculation” was missing

We tried that with your chart and it did not resolve it for us. But we are glad you got it working, as we have not had the time to delve into this yet.
