When I activate erase drawing mode, I get a cross hair to center on the drawings desired. This calls the tools value window which I don't want, rarely use and find distracting. Plus when I'm done erasing, I now have to kill the window, one more step. Your docs say to get rid of it I need to make registry entreies, which I don't feel comfortable with. Never have before for any computer problem. Question 1, is this how erase drawinbg mode is designed? Can crosshair be circumvented?

Question 2: I'm still unable to not download intraday data. I've performed everything to stop this but backfill intraday data continues to be filled in.; How do I stop ALL backfills?

Nowhere would this be said. This we are certain of. Where do you see this?

Sounds like you need to uncheck Global Settings >> Tool Settings >> Chart Values >Always on When Using Other Tools and Show Hide Tool Values Window When Tool Activated/Deactivated.

You are the only one who wants to stop the downloading of historical Intraday data. We are not sure this can be done. We would have to do some testing.

Thanks, that seemed to fix my fixation with tool values windows. Also found Prompt when erasing all drawings which I occassionally do also.
