Hi, If I trade MNQ, the trade activity log and global profit/loss management correctly calculate at $0.50/tick ($2/point). However if I trade M2K, the trade activity log correctly shows $0.50/tick but the global profit/loss management is calculating at RTY values of $5/tick not $0.50. I can't see where/how global profit/loss is getting its values from. How is it possible for Trade Activity Log to be correct but Global Profit/Loss be getting a different value. Thanks |

We would need to see the information as to why you are stating that this is occurring. There is no reason for it from what you show. But, we do want to point out that the Tick Size for M2K (and RTY) is 0.1, so our first question is whether you are calculating this correctly or if you are using a Tick Size of 0.25. Let's put aside my issue above, there's more to that and I'm trying to nail that down because if I open a fresh chartbook, open a new DOM and do a single trade then it calculates correctly. So its not a settings issue but I need to do more testing to give you something clean to look at. However there's definitely something funky going on here and I think there might be different issues at play at the same time. I created a new sim account (SIM4), made a trade in RTY and then M2K (micro RTY). You can see from the 2 images that the trail PnL on Global Profit/Loss after the first trade looks correct, but after the second its showing $65 which doesn't make sense to me. The second trade I had to add to so I could get a profitable trade but all exits happened at the same time. I'll post the non flat-to-flat display next. Thanks. |

...and here's the trade by trade. I just kept adding to the short until the average price came up so I could take it all of for a profit. |

You have your "Start of Day" set to "18:00" on the "Global Profit/Loss Management". Please change the date and time for the start of your Trade Activity Log to start from yesterday at 18:00. We want to ensure there were no other trades that occurred.

...and with these two images: When I set the DOM to be Sim2 it shows PnL in the Global Profit/Loss to be $15. But if I change only the DOM to Sim5, the value in Global Profit/Loss changes $0 even though Global is still showing Sim2. I don't see why that should change. The $0 doesn't even apply to Sim5, so its not like its showing Sim5 but not updating a display. |
