No, that is not exactly what we are stating. If a Study Collection is NOT defined, then the Anchor color will also be the color of the main VWAP line.

But, if you have a Study Collection defined for the configuration, then the subgraphs (as defined in the Study Collection) will define the colors of the lines.

For the file you sent us (Sierra4.config) it is not showing any Study Collections associated with the configurations for the Drawn AVWAP. This would mean that the color of the Anchor point would drive the color of the VWAP line. But, this is confusing, as the color of the anchor is Grey, so we do not know where you are getting the initial Pink coloring from.

And, we are not able to reproduce any situation where the coloring changes just by moving the anchor point.

So, we are first wanting to understand if you have a Study Collection setup for the Drawn AVWAP tool or not? If so, what configuration number is it associated with?

Next, we are trying to understand the exact process you are using in adding the Drawn VWAP and then moving it. We are not able to reproduce what is occurring given your statements so far. In particular, the ability to grab the anchor point and move it, without first changing to the Pointer.

Hm okay so no I have no study collection for the draw anchored vwap tool. I believe when I first discovered you guys had the tool built in I must of initially added it in the default grey color. Then went to the subgraph to change the vwap color to pink. I did however go to the global tool config for the avwap and set 1-4 colors and now when I add one it obeys that color assignment from TC1 TC2 TC3 TC4. Which I have on my control bar 1.

But before I added the tool to my right click chart shortcut menu and the control bar 1 I was just going to the tools drop down on the chart and clicking draw anchored vwap tool, then I would click on the chart and the anchor grey square box along with the pink vwap line would appear. Then once I clicked on the grey anchor box to drag it somewhere else thats when the color would change from pink back to grey which matches the anchor color box to begin with because that grey was the default color I suppose?

Ok. Now we are understanding the situation.

We did not see the issue, as the Anchor and the main VWAP line were the same color, and we kept expecting it to change to grey.

What is occurring is the main VWAP line changes to the defined anchor color whenever the AVWAP is moved.

We will pass this along to Engineering to see if there is anything they can do about this.
