Draw Anchored VWAP - Current Tool Config is not being applied

Hello, I'm attempting to use tool configurations for the Draw Anchored VWAP tool, the same way I can with the Draw Volume Profile tool. I am following the same steps as the documented way to do it with the Draw Volume Profile tool (and the VP works no problem). However, the AVWAP tool is not applying the tool configuration. It just remains a default grey colour and uses Dash instead of Line for the Draw Style of the Subgraphs. I have attached a link to a 2 minute video demonstrating the issue. (https://youtu.be/eVar4kkjaBs) I am using Sierra Chart prerelease (2807) ARM version on a Windows 11 (ARM) inside of Parallels running on a Mac Mini M4 Pro, in case that is useful information during your troubleshooting. We are checking on this. For now set the line color through the Selection Object Color in the tool configuration for Anchored VWAP.

I changed the default color of the anchored VWAP using a customized vwap study collection saved in the tool settings. The new saved color appears when I create a new anchored VWAP but then it goes back to the original grey color after moving the anchor point. |

We are not able to reproduce this. When we use a saved Study Collection to create a Drawn VWAP, and then move or adjust the anchor point, the anchor point stays the same color as it was at the time the Drawn VWAP was initially placed. This is defined by the "Selection Object Color" in the Drawn VWAP Configuration Settings, and not by any color in the actual VWAP study. How are you moving/adjusting the Anchor Point? What is the defined color for that anchor point in the Configuration/Properties? I understand what is going on now, thank you. I thought that the "Selection object color" parameter applied only to the anchor point so I modified the color of the line inside the VWAP study collection then I saved it. And this does change the color of the line for as long as I don't click and drag the anchor point around. I now modified the Selection object color parameter and the line color always stays the same. |
