I was reading the documentation about the pulling stacking columns and i'm confused by this setting. The documentation has this example: For example, if the Bid Quantity at price 100.0 is 50 and the quantity goes down to 40, then this is a reduction of 10 which will adjust the current Pulling and Stacking value down by 10. And then if there is a trade of 5, this will increase the current Pulling and Stacking value by 5 giving an overall change of the Pulling and Stacking value of -5. The reason for this last adjustment is that the reduction of the buy limit orders (Bid Quantity) from 50 to 40, was in part related to a trade of quantity 5, not actual pulling of limit orders.
So, in this scenario, is the setting 'Add Trade Volume to Pulling Stacking Value For Price' on or off? Whats the default? In this example the trade is adding 5, so is the default 'On' and having it 'Off' makes it not consider that the trade is not actual pulling? Or is it the other way around? |

When the option for "Add Trade Volume to Pulling Stacking Value for Price is set to "Yes", then the quantity of that trade is included in the calculation of the Pulling and Stacking. If the option is set to "No", then the quantity of a trade is NOT included in the pulling/stacking calculation. The default for this setting is "Yes". Refer to the following: Global Trade Settings Windows: Add Trade Volume to Pulling Stacking Value For Price (Global Settings >> Chart DOM Settings >> Other >> Other Settings) For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
