Hello--

I was able to use your support board suggestions to successfully make a daily chart into a chart that displays one bar for RTH (NY open to close) and ETH (globex open to NY open). This was great.

I'm curious if I could take it one step further. I would like to be able to plot one bar for each of the following sessions:

1. Globex open to Asia open
2. Asia open to UK open
3. UK open to NY open
4. NY open to NY close.

I think I've seen it is possible to plot these on one TPO chart, but I'd love to get it set to where I could have that as session candles. Thank you in advance for your help!

The only way to do this for a candle chart would be through a custom study. Refer to the following:

How is this accomplished?

Ok--in chart settings session times:

Intraday session start: 930
intraday session end: 1700

use evening session: YES
evening start 1800
Evening end 092959

Then in bar period put bar period value 0-1330-0

That should give you RTH and ETH bars...I haven't made one yet for different sessions but will post if I get around to it...

Actually, any bar period from 0-930-0 to 0-1439-0 will work.

This is because the Evening session in this example is 930 minutes,
and any minute duration >= 930 or < 1440 (24 hrs) will use the Day session start time for a new bar.

This concept should work for any two sessions.
But it can't create 4-session bars, as the OP wanted.
