Morning John, All is working well the the new #C in the Brazil WIN contract except for this oddity. The volume profile, which looks data wise correct and accurate, suddenly turns orange 2 weeks back on chart. That wasn't the roll day, it occurred a few days earlier. Even if it was there should be no reason for it to go suddenly go day-glo orange on a random day. Any ideas? thanks mate, Karen |

You have something set to be colored orange in the Volume by Price study. Even in the most recent profiles, there is an orange highlight around the edges. Typically when you are only seeing the grey, it means that the data is too compressed and the system is not able to draw the underlying coloring, as there is another grey color (typically for an outline) that is being drawn on top of the other color. The best way to view this quickly and see what is occurring is to expand the scale so the profile is not so compressed. Then, you can adjust the "Ticks per Volume Bar" to have bars that are not so compressed together. Refer to the following: Volume By Price Study: Ticks Per Volume Bar For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
