Hi Guys,

Been through all the docs and support threads I've been able to find and can't solve this one - I have the following studies configured to display spread on screen:

Bid & Ask Prices >
Study Subgraphs Subtract/Difference - subtracts bid from ask >
Text Display for Study - puts the Subtract/Difference calculation on screen >
Color Bar Based on Alert Conditions - attempting to color the text display of spread > X

Color Bar Settings
Based On: text display for study
Output When Condition True: Use Input Data
Input Data: text display for study

Subgraph:
Draw Style of Custom Text
Width/Size of the same value as the Text Display For study, with a different color selected to color the text (not sure if it matters here that the Text Display for Study takes two color inputs)

Alert:
=ID[Number of Text Display for Study].SG1 > X
this does nothing

=ID[Number of Subtract/Difference study].SG1 > X
this gets a colored response from the display of the Color Bar Based on Alert Condition study in the chart header :) but not the text display

So that's where I'm at, can't figure out where I might have flubbed up. Any way to get the displayed text from the Text Display study to respond?

Pics attached are GC with X > .2 and the Text Display & header annotated, one screenshot with the spread > .2 and the other not.

Thanks!

The "Text Display for Study" can not be affected by the "Color Bar Based on Alert Condition". In the end, what is presented from that study is a drawing and not a subgraph.

The only option you have for this would be to modify the source code for the "Text Display for Study" to get the coloring you want.
