When using an attached order to an entry: SCT_ORDERTYPE_LIMIT_CHASE Does the chasing occur before or after the entry is filled? I.e. if the entry order is filled immediately and then the market moves away from the target order, does the target order chase? |

My understanding is that the chase starts if the market reaches the price of the target limit order, and then moves away. So if you have an attached target limit chase order at a price of 100, then if the market reaches 100 and turns away, and your order is not filled (because usually it needs to go up by one more tick), thats when the chase will start. If it reaches 99.99, and turns away, the chase does not start.
