hi- the platform seems to hang when i pick one of the chart tabs, it does not have a problem with others. more specifically , it gets stuck when i scroll to one timeframe within that chart. it hangs for a minute and then shows the information.
what can be done to fix this?

The only other suggestion we have is to close that chart and do not use it again. The next thing is to rebuild a new Chartbook.

after spending a lot of time searching for a solution, it appears that the reason is the "Copy Chart Drawings From Chart #s" (from Chart Settings-> Advanced settings 2) . once this field is cleared all works properly. This is odd , since i've been using this useful feature for a long time with no issues. (it is useful for example to show drawings from the daily chart on the 5 min chart) .

Any ideas on how this can be used safely?

We have never known that feature to cause high CPU usage and it should not.

Can you easily replicate the problem? If so, if you can provide us a test Chartbook we can use to test and then we will see what is causing the issue. Here are instructions:
