Toolbar icons grayed out

this happens randomly - the whole toolbar is grayed out and no button can be used. the workaround is to click on the Tools menu item and select the desired tool (e.g. draw a Line) . i must be missing something here - what do i need to do to reactivate the toolbar?

This is unusual but we have heard of instances of this issue.

It is in our longer-term plans to rebuild the ToolBar to eliminate this kind of problem. It is a bug somewhere in Microsoft Windows or the Microsoft development libraries we use.

When this happens do you have an active chart window attached to the main Sierra Chart window?

not sure what you mean with your question- I have one chartbook with several chart tabs in it.

Our only advice would be to restart Sierra Chart when you have this problem or do what you have done.

Unfortunately, we cannot offer more help than this right now. Longer-term we will have a solid solution for this.

Same issue here, use the menu for a while and then the toolbar comes back.
