Hi all, Where in Sierra Chart can I get the per-symbol session open/close times, including holidays/early closes? Also, is there a way to export these effective times per symbol (CSV/API/ACSIL)? Thanks. |

Sierra Chart does not have the actual times of the opening/closing of the exchanges. There are default Session Times setup for each symbol in the "Symbol Settings", which are used when you open a new chart for a symbol. Refer to the following and the 5 items below it: Global Symbol Settings: Time Zone To get the specific times, particularly for holidays, you would need to check with the exchange themselves. Hello, I’m reviewing the CME Group “Trading Hours (Globex)” page, which lists “Presidents Day 18–20 February 2025.” However, Sierra Chart shows an early close on 2025-02-17. I’m having trouble finding a reliable source that aligns with Sierra Chart’s early-close and holiday times. Could you please point me to a trustworthy source for these schedules? Thank you, Dennis |

Here is what the CME Group calendar shows for Presidents Day in 2025 for the NASDAQ 100 Futures (NQ): Product Name NQ E-mini Nasdaq-100 Futures Sunday 16 Feb 2025 TRADE DATE: Tue 18 Feb 16:00 preopen 17:00 open Monday 17 Feb 2025 TRADE DATE: Tue 18 Feb 12:00 preopen 17:00 open Tuesday 18 Feb 2025 TRADE DATE: Tue 18 Feb 16:00 closed TRADE DATE: Wed 19 Feb 16:45 preopen 17:00 open -- So the change from the standard hours was that the exchange closed at 12:00:00 on Monday 17th February 2025. When it reopened at 17:00:00 that evening the regular hours were followed. Note that these times are in Central US time. This is what you will see in Sierra Chart as long as your Session Times are set to cover the full 24 hours of trading. If your Session Times are not set to cover the full 24 hours, then you may be missing information. Are you not seeing this with your Intraday data in Sierra Chart?
