[User Discussion] - Open & Close Horizontal Lines for NY Equites Session on ES Futures Chart

I am trying to have the Daily OHLC study display the NY equities trading session 0930 EDT to 1600 EDT Open and Close as horizontal lines on my Emini ES chart. I cannot seem to get this to occur. Help please. Thanks |

Thanks for the info. So the trick is to set the chart stop times to get it to work. I got it working now. NOTE TO SIERRA IMO You all might consider improving the DAILY OHLC so it could have session start and stop times as input parameters. I imagine that US, European, and Asian customers would appreciate this improvement. Best regards |

additional note to Sierra I believe what is really needed is to have the DAILY OHLC have parameters for a 24-hour day, and for the NY, Asian, EZ sessions, etc so one does not have to change the Chart Time Periods. With the use suggested fix I now have the NY open and close lines (by changing the chart time periods) but the DAILY OHLC SINGLE POINT now does not reflect the 24 hour day. |

If you want the Daily OHLC - Single Point study to reflect 24 hours then in the settings and inputs of the study change "Use Day session Only" to "No".
