Incorrect Broker Position

When I have an open position for FGBLM3 it does not show either on the chart or in trade window. Other contracts appear correctly in the same chart and trade window. Correct position shows on TransActAT 5.5.1 platform. Under Orders And Positions Panel / Trade Stats for Charts it incorrectly shows a position of -1 FGBLM3 at 144.76. However under the Postions Tab for this panel it correctly shows account is flat. Are these 2 issues related? How do I clear the incorrect item in Trade Stats for Charts? Running Sierra v 969 with TransAct feed and TransAct Broker. Please advise |

In the case of the Trade Stats for Charts tab, you need to clear out the Order Fill data for the symbol from the Trade Activity Log. This is explained here: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/doc_TradeStatusWindows.html#ChartTradeStatsTab However, you are always going to see your accurate position on the Chart and the Trade Window. Thanks for replying so quickly. Cleared out order fill data successfully. For info this also rectified the problem of position display on chart and trade window - even though no change was made to "Use Trade Fill Calculated Position", (it remained not enabled) Date Time Of Last Edit: 2013-05-13 08:11:40

Without verification of what exactly you were seeing, we do not see how it is even possible that you would get an invalid Position displayed on the Trade Window without using the Trade Fill Calculated Position.

Reported only what I saw, but will take screen shot in event of recurrence. Problem was resolved so no point taking further at this stage. Once again many thanks for your prompt responses. Been in trading business for 12 years now and migrated to Sierra last year, really value the capabilities built into this very efficient platform, and appreciate your work to constantly improve. |
