I have a custom footprint chart that I would like to move to a sub-instance. How do I copy or move this single chart from my main chartbook to a sub-instance?

The simplest way is to copy the chartbook file that contains that chart. If you just want the one chart, then duplicate it to a new chartbook where it will be the only chart in that chartbook, and then copy that chartbook from the main instance to the sub-instance.

To copy the chartbook, make sure Sierra Chart is not running for either the main instance or the sub-instance. The chartbook itself will be in the 'Data' folder of the main instance which is wherever you initially installed Sierra Chart (typically this would be C:\SierraChart\Data).

The sub-instance has the same file structure, but it starts in the folder named 'SierraChartInstance_#' where the '#' is the number of the particular sub-instance. This folder is located in the main Sierra Chart installation folder (typically C:\SierraChart). Under that folder will be another 'Data' folder to which the chartbook should be copied (C:\SierraChart\SierraChartinstance_2\Data (as an example)).
