placing STP orders through spreadsheet

Can someone point me in the direction of how I can place STP orders based on spreadsheet systems. For example, if 'Line1' is crossed, BUY MKT and attach an order of SELL STP at 'Line2'. So whatever the value of Line2 is at that time, an attached order would be submitted and thus Sierra could be shut off and the stp would still be in place at my broker. 'Attached orders' in the Trade Window cannot be used since they require fixed values for the brackets. And my understanding is that for some reason spreadsheet systems cannot transmit STP orders in advance. Does this mean I have to venture into ACSIL? Even if I do manage to figure out the right command in ASCIL, will I be able to trigger an ASCIL function from the spreadsheet?

All I want to do is "when 'line1' is crossed, buy mkt and attach stp based on 'line2'. Thank you.

You have a good understanding of how everything works.

There are 2 possibilities. Use ACSIL. You can definitely generate order Actions from ACSIL based upon a Spreadsheet.

The other possibility is we allow the ability for the Offsets for Target 1 and Stop 1 Attached Orders to be settable from a spreadsheet? Would that help?

Perfect, I will use the study "Trade Management By Study" in case anyone else comes across this.

Having the ability to set/modify the target and stop levels from the spreadsheet would be hugely helpful.
