Hello. Have 2 questions: 1. How to add "Stop-Limit Client" order to "Chart Trade Menu" and "Dom"? I can't find here options to add them. 2. Problem with "Market if touched" orders: They are executed instantly for me as market orders, no matter what price I place them at. For example CL current market price 50.00, I place "Buy market if touched order" by price 50.50, but the order is instantly executed at 50.00 current market price. What I'm doing wrong? Thank you! |

1: not sure what you want to do with a Stop-Limit, I hope you don't want to use it as Stop-order 2: if you want to Buy above the current price,you've to use a Buy-Stop order |

1. We do not have an option for a "Stop Limit - Client" to be added to the "Chart Trade Menu" or to the DOM options in the Buy/Sell columns. There are options for "Market if Touched - Client" and "Limit if Touched - Client" for both of these items. It sounds like the "Limit if Touched - Client" will do what you are looking for. 2. As noted by User135243, you can not enter a "Market if Touched" (or a "Limit if Touched") Buy order above the current price or a Sell order below the current price. Since the current price in these situations is better than what you are wanting, it will automatically fill at the market. For fast day trading I need sell stop and buy stop (client) orders that will not go to the server, but will stay only in Sierra's program. If I will use server-side orders and my internet/electricity connection will be lost, my present OCO orders will be closed, but server-side buy/sell stop order will stay on server and after can be touched by price, when I will not be available to control and cancel it. So why I can use "Stop-Limit Client" in "Trade window", but I can't add it to "Chart Trade Menu" and "Dom"? It could be very comfortable for me (and probably not only). Or you know better solution? May be I'm doing something too complicated? Thank you for help! |
