Dear Support Please can you help with this example that doesn't seem to work. Example suggested:
ACSIL Interface Members - Functions: sc.AddAndManageSingleTextUserDrawnDrawingForStudy() For an example to use this function, refer to the scsf_ClockRealTime study function in the /ACS_Source/studies2.cpp file in the Sierra Chart installation folder. However, this would not seem to function as suggested. After creating my study I could not update the vertical or horizontal position.
When I added the actual Sierra Chart study "SierraChartStudies_64.scsf_ClockRealTime" this also did not allow me to adjust the position. If I place the the actual vertical and horizontal values directly in the function it moves to the specified location but it will not call the user inputs? Please would you check the example code and "ClockRealTime" for similar issues. Any help appreciated. Many thanks. |

Those location items are the "Initial Location" as specified for the Clock - Real Time study. Refer to the following: Clock - RealTime: Inputs For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Hi John I'm at a loss. I've just re applied the study as before and its all working as expected and the inputs are having the expected outcome. My study is also working as expected - no changes there either. Maybe it was a PC/Windows issue that was cleared on restart. I've done nothing different and given its all absolutely clear as to the Vertical and Horizontal settings, I'm still not sure what happened. Basically I should have restarted before posting. Apologies and many thanks. |
