Support I am using a Mac and have Sierra charts downloaded on a Mac with Crossover. I need help getting my mentors preset indicators on my Sierra charts and want help with that. I have the file but not sure how to upload that on to Sierra charts on a Mac using Crossover. Do you offer support over the phone and yes I will pay for it, I am not very tech savvy and need help. Is there another company that you recommend helps teach how to use Sierra charts that you would recommend? Thanks Ram Parikh |

1) Open up the Crossover App on your Mac. 2) In the left sidebar look under Bottles. 3) Highlight the Sierra Chart bottle. Right click on Sierra Chart. 4) Then select Open C: Drive or Open Y: Drive if installed on the Y: Drive. A Finder Window opens for drive_c or drive_y. Double click on the Sierra Chart directory in the Finder Window. Double click on the Data directory. 5) Now go to the Finder Menu bar at the very upper top left of the Mac screen. Click File. Then, New Finder Window. Click on the Downloads directory on the left hand side of the screen or other directory where your mentor's chartbook or mentor's preset indicator's study file is located. 6) Now copy or drag your mentor's chartbook file or mentor's preset indicators study file to the Data directory of the drive_c or drive_y Finder Window. 7) In Sierra Chart, your mentor's preset indicator's study file should be located under Studies >> Add Custom Study. Find it in the Study List. Then click Add. If it is a chartbook, then open the chartbook. |

When I open C: Drive under Bottle Actions on Crossover, I don't see "Data Directory" I have attached a picture of what I see. Do you know if there is a service that I can call and that would help me, I am willing to pay to get this resolved. Thanks |

What Version of Mac OS are you using? What year and model of Mac are you using? How did you install Crossover on your Mac? I don't know of a service to resolve this issue on a Mac. Try this 1) Under View in your Finder Window, click on drive_c. If it shows the 'SierraChart' directory, click on the 'SierraChart' directory, and see if there is a 'Data' directory there. 2) If you click the Back Arrow < or Forward Arrow > next to Sierra Chart in the Finder Window what does that show? This is what my drive_c Finder Window looks like. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2025-06-14 04:39:17
