Good morning/evening Could you please consider adding functionality so that users can set risk parameters (daily loss, contract max limits.....) that can help promote healthy trading habits. This would ideally be something that is controlled from the account menu in Sierra Chart so that it is not easily changed or adjusted in real-time. Another option would be to give the option of user created limits that cannot be changed for 24 hours once a "rule" has been violated. This is obviously functionality that can be done on the FCM/Broker side but for us using Rithmic eval trade services this is not available. Thank you for considering this feature. |

This is already supported through this functionality: Global Profit/Loss Management Yes we know there is a warning not to use it but at this time our server-based functionality with Teton is not available. Position and Order quantity limits can be set per symbol: Global Symbol Settings: Trade Position Limit Although the settings can be easily changed anytime. Additional lockout features are available in my Risk Management/Lockout Tool: https://forgivingcomputers.com/advanced-risk-management-tool-for-sierra-chart/ To be clear: While it is capable of automatically locking and unlocking trading under certain conditions, it is a custom study, so it can be easily removed and bypassed. It uses the Trade>>Trading Locked feature, and monitors if you try to unlock, relocking immediately. However, once the chart is closed or the study is removed, trading can be manually unlocked. If you want a referee to give you sign that it is time to stop trading, this may be for you. |
