Hi, I have an account with Ninja Trader and wanted to use that with SC, I followed the steps here but I'm getting "Username or password is incorrect" error. Is there something missing? Thanks CQG Trading Platform Service: Setup Instructions |

Ninja Trader does not allow for the use of Sierra Chart with them. This is their decision and they have setup the blocking to not allow Sierra Chart to connect. You are welcome to ask them to change it.

I was under the impression that CQG connections work with NT, I guess that is no longer the case? What is a recommended broker for using with SC that's available in Canada? Thanks. |

I am also in Canada, unfortunately the only Futures broker that connects to Sierra is Interactive Brokers (Toronto Office), their margin requirement is outrageous and has occasional connection issues to Sierra, I just opened accounts with US brokers. I think GFF brokers based in California allows both connections to NT and Sierra.

The broker can control what systems can connect to their use of CQG. In this case, Ninja Trader has not allowed for Sierra Chart to be used. In general, most brokers that use CQG can be used with Sierra Chart, but there are a few, such as Ninja Trader, that specifically do not allow it. We do not know specific brokers in Canada.
