Hi, i will provide a chartbook so you can see my problem. I have 2 dom opened, both of them with the same study collection applied on them: a collection of volume profile studies. If we take the 20secmomentum study wich is a 20 secondes volume profile ( the only one that i did not hide to make it easier for you) , it act different on each DOM. On one DOM (the one on the right), the 20 sec volume profile bars progressively disappears over time at a much faster pace than the DOM on the left where the 20 sec volume profile bars seems to stay much longer. What is the difference here ? Both dom have the same study settings. I want the volume profile studies on the left dom to act like the VP studies on the Right DOM, but it is not. Per exemple : I want the 20 sec volume profil bars to disapear progressively (exactly like how it is doing on the right dom) |

You are using 2 different Chart Update Intervals. One is set to use the Global setting and the other is set for 40 milliseconds. Refer to the following: Chart Settings: Chart Update Interval in Milliseconds (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Display >> Chart Update Interval menu) For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

I've changed de chart update intervals and put them both on global settings. Yet it is still different. As you can see on the chartbook i attacheed. To make it easier i just let the 2 secondes and 4 secondes volume profiles and other studies are hidden. As you can see on the White DOM the volume bars do not disappears over time like it does on the black DOM.

The "Bar Period" is set differently for the two charts. One is set to 1 second and the other is 5 minutes. The 5 minute one is where the bars are not going away, as the data is made up from the entire bar. You need the Bar Period to be no larger than 2 seconds, since that is the smallest time period you are setting - but you also need it to be equally divisible into all your profiles - so you probably want it to be 1 second. For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
