It appears that my SMA of volume on SC is incorrectly very high. I attached a pic of a 2min SC chart (May 29th) of /NMQ with a 20 period SMA and a 2min TOS chart with a 20 period SMA. I get what appears to be overly-elevated SMA's on other time frames and when using other period sizes as well. EXT hours volume not used. I don't understand why I am getting two very different lines?
Thx

There must be something different in either the data or in the calculation of the Moving Average. Did you do look at the last 20 data points and make sure the volumes are the same? And did you do a hand calculation of the moving average to determine which one is correct?

We would need the information that we mentioned above in order to be able to give any further information. But we can definitely state that what you are seeing in Sierra Chart is correct for the data and study as it is defined.
