I have attached a photo of a DOM I found in an old chartbook. I'm wondering what the data on the far left is called. Is this pulling and stacking? If it's delta - I see that some bars have a smaller delta - but the bar is filled all the way to the left. What does this signify? |

Hi, This is the Volume by Price study. The the background is set to show the volume at price, and the big blue bar is its point of control. The foreground, with the small bars red and blue, is set to show the delta at price. |

Thank you! That makes sense. I have a Footprint that shows the POC for the current bar - I noticed the POC for the DOM can be different. Is that because the POC for the DOM is for the session? |

The 2 POCs would be the same only if your footprint graph has the same bar period as the period of your DOM Volume Profile. Usually it is not the case. The DOM volume profile is usually set for a period of 1 day. So it indicates the POC for a 1 day period. The Footprint bar period is usually shorter duration, like 5, 15 or 30min. So it indicates the POC for this short period of time. |
