Request to add - The ability to directly drag and drop Stop-Loss (SL) and Take-Profit (TP) orders from the chart, similar to TradingView. Instead of using Trade window option "Use Attached orders" check box, I am asking to place simple Buy/Sell order(Limit or Market order) by keyboard shortcuts(nice feature), after position is filled chart displays Order line and its running PNL currently. From this order line i want to drag and drop the TP/SL orders with cursor. Could you please add this feature to your 'Order management system' in upcoming releases!. This is not new feature to trading world, currently Tradingview have it. Could you please consider this feature request to your Development pipeline. Appreciate your efforts and dedication for building this Robust Application! Looking forward! Thank you. |

This is already supported. You would use this order type directly from the chart can can interactively set the Limit and Stop prices: Order Types: OCO Limit and Stop Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Nope, you did not understand my request at all. I am not asking for attached order modification from chart, to understand my request please Test once: place order in Tradingview and after filling, hover your cursor on to the "running PNL order line", you will see two floating buttons like ['TP' &'SL'], if you left click and drag TP order- you can create new attached order to the open position, similarly SL button- you can drag and drop from the open position to create attached SL order. |

You misunderstood. That order type is not for modification. That will submit both a Limit and Stop order which you interactively set the price levels for from the chart. Equivalent to attached orders. There are no plans to be adding anything else. That order type does exactly what you need. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. huh.. The way trading view implemented to achieve the same thing is more user friendly, so i am requesting to add this feature to make it more convenient to all Sierrachart users. Instead of taking it as problem or already available feature, Please take it as worthy small change to greatly improve user experience with SC platform. I request you not to take decision to 'turn down' this idea. Please discuss with your manager/ decision making body. before that you need to give a try in other platform to understand and explain to your team in more technical terms. |

With the way that you describe it works in Trading view, that would not be added because the orders would not have an OCO link in that case since they are entered one at a time. We are not sure how you submitted the OCO Limit and Stop order but use the Chart Trading method: Chart Trading and the Chart DOM: Entering Orders From the Chart This does not exist: Please discuss with your manager/ decision making body.
You are already talking with senior engineering. We could add a keyboard shortcut, but not sure how that would work with two orders at two different prices. ""but not sure how that would work with two orders at two different prices."" :: I will explain my best: Initially we are placing simple MKT buy/Sell order, This order line will display on chart right?, Now this order line is the area - when we hover our cursor over this running position line it is displaying two floating GUI buttons[ labelled as ''TP'' ''SL'']. its functionality is when user drag and drop TP to certain price level, by default it is placing limit Target order[ Buy/Sell it is taking auto decision based on open position direction and Size]. Again if you hover your mouse over running position line it will display only 'SL' GUI button(because TP order already used). if you drag and drop the "SL" GUI button to some price level[ it is linking the SL order to TP order as OCO automatically]. After using these two GUI buttons, if you hover your cursor on running position- Now it wont display these buttons again. I think they are designed as one time use until the position closes and till next Trade is placed. Please give a try using this in 'Paper trade account in Tradingview', you will see it clearly more than what i am explaining. |

Hi, This custom study can maybe help you achieve what you look for. https://youtu.be/Sntmqs92xK4?si=Q42IB86MRygvtJgj You have to contact the author so he can give you access to his study (which is free). It allows to move attached orders to your mouse pointer with a keyboard shortcut. You can create an OCO order with a SL at -1000 ticks and a TP at +1000 ticks (so the SL and TP are created but are out of the way), then with a single keyboard shortcut you can move one of these 2 orders at your mouse pointer. For a long trade : -If your mouse pointer is above your entry price, the study moves the TP. -If your mouse pointer is bellow your entry price, it moves the SL. It is really fast and user friendly. Not exactly the same as TradingView... but it's faster. |

Verrillo Trading, i know and im following this channel from long time. Moving OCO with Mouse events, I can code myself from ACSIL by using pointer events. What iam looking for is Graphical buttons on Order line and achieving interaction with these TP and SL buttons. IF there is a way/ documentation please direct me to those sc.functions , or else you can close this ticket. i will figure out sooner or later. Thanks for your time. |
