And onther question please. If I set a date range to load from chart settings (ex. 2025-02-01 to 2025-05-20) and setting "use date range", then when I click apply the system put a different date to start from (in this case 2024-09-13). It does not follow my input, it returns insted to that starting day time. Why is that? The same when I try to download the data for the backtest, it doesn't respond to my input, if I click on "Edit download data - Intraday Chart" from the Edit chart menu. How can I set in according to my will the correct download of the data for a backtest? Hope you can clrify this issues. Thanks |

We do not understand this question. If you are editing your code, then you can select any editor you want. And we do not understand how this is related to the Intraday data. Please let us know exactly what you are wanting to do. If I set a date range to load from chart settings (ex. 2025-02-01 to 2025-05-20) and setting "use date range", then when I click apply the system put a different date to start from (in this case 2024-09-13). Make sure you are actually changing the correct item. On that particular tab there are two items for date range, one for the "Date Range in File" and one for the "Load Data Limiting Method - Date Range". It sounds like you are trying to change the "Date Range in File From" and since you are entering a later date than what is in the file, it is setting itself back to the actual earliest date in the file. The item you want to change is defined here: Chart Settings: Load Data Limiting Method: Date Range >> Date Range From / To (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Data Limiting >> Load Data Limiting Method: Date Range menu) For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
