My problem is I was charting stocks and everything worked well a few days ago. I can bring up a chart that looks fine and if I do anything to the chart the software dims and I can not do anything

What do you mean the "software dims and I can not do anything"? What exactly is occurring? Are you able to interact with the menus at all? What is one symbol for which you are having a problem? I have no charts on Sierra Chart. I select a daily chart and everything loads fine. I change the file from daily to monthly or 480 minute and a hourglass appears and nothing happens. To do anything to get out of this I close the window out by clicking the x on the window. I then have the Sierra Chart with nothing on. I load the stock again and it looks perfect. I change the time of the chart and I get the hour glass again and everything happens again.

Is this only a problem with stock data, or do you have the same issue with data for the CME Group? Does this occur with only a certain symbol? If you open an Intraday chart first, does the problem occur then? Does it require you open a Daily chart and then switch that?
