If you are using multiple regions, and some regions have multiple associated studies, it is very tricky to reorder them. You have to change each study's region number, and ensure you are changing other studies' region numbers accordingly so that they don't overlap and such. And then after reordering, you may have to adjust scale settings that you had setup for the region/studies. A great feature would be if you could somehow add a tool that would allow you to drag an entire region for example from region 2 to region 5, and that tool will: - Move all of the studies of region 2 to region 5. - Retain scale settings from the region 2 studies and ensure they take effect when moved to region 5. - Move all of the studies from the original region 5. Not sure if it would be best to move them to the new region 2, or simply move them up/down one region. - Renumber all other studies' regions accordingly. For example, if the feature were to simply swap region 2 and region 5, then no other renumbering of other studies' regions would be necessary. But if the feature were to move the original region 5 studies up/down one region, then all other studies' regions would need to be renumbered accordingly; As you are dragging region 2 down (and therefore its associated studies), region 3 would go to 2, region 4 would go to 3, 5 to 4, etc. Although more complex, I think reordering the regions as if they were in race positions would be more desirable. |
