I'm not moving the chart. I have several chart books with several individual charts in each chartbook. I just tried it again, both ways, checked and unchecked. I moved the tool values window where I wanted it in each chart, saved, shutdown SC, reloaded and tool window position moved whether I had checked or unchecked the option.
